Life can be challenging, and you don’t have to to navigate it alone. I work with children, adolescents and adults who are facing anxiety, depression, stress, relationship concerns, and major life transitions. I also support parents and individuals adjusting to divorce and blended family life, and families working through everyday challenges together. My goal is to create a warm supportive environment where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful, lasting changes.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and I hold a Master of Social Work degree with a specialization in mental health from UNC Chapel Hill.I have been practicing since 1986. Since that time I have worked in family service agencies, mental health centers, and elementary schools. I have also served as Clinical Instructor in the UNC School of Social Work. I have been in private practice since 2005. I bring to my work my passion for parenting and my personal experiences raising a family of two children who are now young adults.
